I got my breaks done here, and two days later the break on my right side fell off completely. Thankfully I was out in pegram with no cars in front of me, but it took me about 100 feet before my breaks would let me even slow down. I pulled my car to the side of the road and called crutchers immediately, and they offered to give me new breaks and rotors and sent me out a rental car which was very nice, but I would not recommend this business for break renewal.
Thank you for taking my call on the weekend you posted this. Again I am very sorry for the problem you encountered. For clarity, one of the bolts came out of the brake caliper bracket and allowed the bracket to rotate and cause the brake grinding noise you encountered but it was just the bolt that fell out completely. Regardless of the details this is unacceptable and clearly not up to our reputation or service standards that we try so hard to maintain. I do wish you had mentioned this was your second brake service with us and that experience went well. As promised, I looked into this situation and went in and met with my technician, shared your feedback, and clarified how important the details of what we do are and helped him with some processes to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else on his watch. While we can't undo the past and the error made I am glad my team was so responsive to rent you a vehicle and get yours in and repaired immediately. There are many places you could choose for repairs, as hard as we try unfortunately things go wrong sometimes, I hope our ownership of the problem and how we respond to the situation shows the true character of our company. Thank you again for your feedback and giving us a chance, if you have any further troubles or I can help in any way, you have my personal number, please feel free to reach out.
